High Pointe seeks to minister to all people, including those who are deaf or hearing impaired. Each Sunday a person signs throughout the worship service, helping those who cannot hear be able to listen to the message and raise up their thoughts and voices before God.
Here is an interview with one of the interpreters in the deaf ministry at High Pointe.
Brandon, what services for the hearing-impaired are offered at High Pointe?
We offer interpretation for Bible classes, Sunday morning services.
Where is the best place to sit in the auditorium during worship for those who need interpreting?
If you need interpreting to understand the services, we suggest you sit in the front 3 rows on the north side of the auditorium. If we see a new face we will introduce ourselves, but don't hesitate to do the same.
Who are the interpreters?
Our current interpretors are Sherrie, and Tara, and Brandon We love you and welcome you with open arms.
