James and his wife Becki came to High Pointe in March of 2008. James serves as a preacher, evangelist, local evangelism director, leader of the worship team, and a leader & team builder of the staff. He works as a team with the elders in refining the vision for the church. He and his wife Becki have two daughters, Gina & Emily. 

James holds BA degrees in Bible, Music, and Pre-Med (Biology), a Masters of Arts in Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University, and a Masters of Divinity from Harding University Graduate School of Religion. 

Currently James is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree in Missional Church, Postmodern Culture, & Evangelism  from Fuller Theological Seminary.

David and his wife Juli came to High Pointe in April of 2002.  David serves as the Youth Minister.  They have three children Emily, Abbey and Zachary.  David enjoys coaching youth sports and is active in the McKinney youth sports association.  His favorite passages of scripture include Romans 12:1-2 and Philippians 3:21.  David has a BS in Psychology  and a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University.

Bryan and his wife Mary came to High Pointe in September of 2002.  Bryan serves as the Equipping and Staff Coordination Minister.  They have three children Jared, Jon and Jennalee.  Bryan enjoys remodeling and landscaping and spending time with the family.  His favorite passage of scripture is Romans 8.  Bryan has a BS in Education from Abilene Christian University and a MS in Counseling from Texas A & M Corpus Christi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sherry and her husband Eric came to High Pointe in 1997.  She began serving as a Children's Minister in 2003.  They have two children David and Sarah.  Sherry enjoys hiking, scrap booking and gardening.  Her favorite passages of scripture include 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.  Sherry has a Degree in Business from Harding University.

Deneen and her husband Keith came to High Pointe in 1983.  She began serving as a Children's Minister in 1996.  They have two children KrisAnn and Curt.  Deneen enjoys gardening, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.  Her favorite passages of scripture include Ephesians 3:20-21.  Deneen has a BS in Education from Stephen F. Austin University.
