World Radio is a ministry that broadcasts the gospel in people's own languages all around the world, with 150 speakers and nearly 500 broadcasts a week.
World Radio is a key part of High Pointe's Hispanic church planting strategy. Genesis Alliance is using World Radio to share culturally relevant gospel messages with the growing Hispanic population in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
As these messages are broadcast, those who call into the radio program are directed towards a partnering Hispanic church that is closest to the callers' area. These churches receive these callers' information, and they provide local follow-up.
This strategy is already working, as the Hispanic church plants from Genesis Alliance are starting to see those who called in part of their small groups and worship.
Sixto Rivera, director of Genesis Alliance, gives the messages for World Radio every weekday in the Dallas Metroplex at 9:00am on KTNO 1440 am. Also, www.radiotime.com streams the program if you live out of the area or wish to listen over the Internet. Search KTNO 1140 and click "Listen."
